OSEVA, a. s. has been operating in the market of crop seeds and other agricultural commodities for ten years and it has taken up a significant position in the Czech market. OSEVA is a joint-stock company with a 100% share of Czech stockholders. Founded in 1993, it is a dynamically growing company.
The present company strategy is focused on the current process of European integration aiming at establishing active cooperation in accordance with progressive European integration. The company staff numbers 75 employees and the annual turnover amounts to EUR 10m.
Also, as a part of our drive to succeed in European markets, we implemented ISO 9001:2000 quality management system ensuring that our products keep to high quality standards.

OSEVA produces and sells a variety of quality seeds of spring and winter cereals, spring and winter oil plants, legumes, and clovers; furthermore, we specialise in corn hybrids production and selling.
OSEVA is the exclusive producer of CEZEA Čejč Czech corn hybrids representing a 30% share in the Czech Republic corn market. Every year, we add to the range of sold crop varieties several newly-registered varieties which we are trying to offer our customers as soon as possible.
Also, trying to widen the choice of products offered to its customers, the company focuses its activities on dealing with agricultural commodities, pesticides, and fertilizers. Our products are offered to customers through a network of our sales representatives and advisors throughout the Czech Republic.
To widen and steadily increase the quality of its range of products, OSEVA, a.s. is testing foreign cereal and corn varieties so that, after their registration in the list of approved varieties, these may be offered to the customers.

All crop seeds are processed in OSEVA cleaning stations equipped with top cleaning and treating technology. OSEVA was the first company in the Czech Republic to use 100% treating application process making use of CETM foaming system and dramatically increasing treatment quality. Thus, treated seeds show better coverage and more homogeneous treatment.
All seed treatment processes from loading to dispatch of packed seeds are supervised by a laboratory authorised by The Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture (Ústřední kontrolní a zkušební ústav zemědělský - ÚKZÚZ) to issue seed quality certificates thus guaranteeing high quality of seeds sold. Furthermore, the quality of seeds sold is then checked by ÚKZÚZ laboratory.

Marketing of corn hybrids in the Czech Republic is carried out by OS-IN Bzenec company. Also, in production of higher-order cereal seeds and corn hybrids, OSEVA, a. s. Bzenec cooperates closely with AGRO Vnorovy, a. s..
In Poland and East Europe, OSEVA and its interests are represented by OSEVA Polska, OSEVA Slovakia and OSEVA Eximpo respectively.
To promote its products and establish closer contacts with its business partners, OSEVA organizes “Field Days” and “The Corn Day”.
